Membership Policies
Auto-Renewal. Memberships auto-renew monthly based on original sale date. Sales are final, and we do not refund you because you changed your mind or have not been coming to class.
Adult Membership Structure. Adult memberships are drop-in based, and registration is at the student's discretion to the class s/he desires from our Wellness Living Class schedule.
Youth Membership Structure. The Kids & Youth/Teens Aerial Arts, Kids Morning Out, and Parent & Me Memberships result in the student(s) being automatically registered for the applicable weekly class/es that align with the purchase.
Notifications. Members are strongly encouraged to ensure their email notification stay on. Email notifications are automatically sent in cases of no-show; class or event emergencies or changes; updates to studio programming; etc. Turning your Email and SMS notifications off in your profile does not hold Gravity District responsible for missed communications.
Texting, Emailing, Calling. The business phone number does not accept texts. This is for record keeping purposes. If you need to speak with us, kindly email info@gravitydistrict.com or call. We do not process membership changes via call, only email. Note our office supports hours in the footer, and if we do not answer, please be kind as we are probably teaching. Email is always a good option!
Email response. Allow 72 hours for our team to reply to an email. This does not equal resolution.
System SMS. On occasion, you may receive an SMS message (text) from our Wellness Living system. We try to keep these to a minimum and are generally utilized when a class is at risk of cancel or there is an urgent update.
No Shows. If you no-show, you forfeit your class pass and there is a $10 charge. Wellness Living emails you a reminder the day before and day-of. Our team has already planned a class curriculum and the teacher has traveled sometimes up to an hour each direction to come to the studio. You can potentially even be the 2nd student that has allowed our class to meet its minimum 2-student requirement. We understand life happens, but please understand some of the reasons why a credit is not refunded. Please help us create a mutually respectful relationship by logging in to your account within the 6-hr window to manage your bookings. Or you can email us within the time window as well at info@gravitydistrict.com. No-showing does not equate to membership cancelation and auto-payment collection will continue. No-showing 3 or more times may result in a fee up to the value of the class and/or account deactivation.
Late Cancels. Adults are allowed to cancel their bookings online. If you do so within the 6-hour class start window, you forfeit your class credit. Unless the studio has canceled a class, the class is considered "on." Youth are not allowed to cancel classes online, as your memberships do not require individual class bookings, but are day/age/program-specific.
Adult Membership Upgrades & Downgrades: If you have a membership and want to purchase a different type of membership (ex, existing Core and go to Unlimited), we need to turn off your prior membership's auto-renew or convert it. This is very important! Email info@gravitydistrict.com with your membership change request.
Memberships Pause & Hold Requests. We can honor 1 request annually per membership, with a max pause of 1 month unless there is an extenuating circumstance, as the pause is using an available slot. You must email info@gravitydistrict.com with a pause request. All membership changes require a 30-day processing time. It is client responsibility to be timely in your requests. If your membership has just auto-renewed at the time of request, you are not prorated or refunded. We use the email date to kick off the process. Your membership will begin auto-renew payments again after your pause is concluded and that will be the new monthly renewal date. Our team will help with final date confirmations.
Membership Cancelation Request. If you desire a cancelation, we require an email request. We are not able to make changes in retrospect and we do not accept text messages. You must email info@gravitydistrict.com with your request and allow up to 72 hours to respond (does not mean fully closed). Please include: Name of member, written request to cancel, phone number to contact if questions. All membership changes require a 30-day processing time. If your membership would normally renew in less than 30 days from your email request, you are subject to one more membership collection based on the date received. We use the email date to kick off the process. It is client responsibility to be timely with your requests. Why am I subject to another fee? Again, please be mindful in your auto-renew dates and make a request appropriately. We do not charge upfront registration or admin fees, and thus feel this is a fair policy and process without undue administrative burden.
Two Month Minimum. Based on the cancelation process, therefore, all memberships are subject to a minimum of 2 payment collections or, in essence, Memberships that request cancelation in under 30 days are charged 1-month fee. It is never our goal to penalize anyone; the reason for these processes is there is much administration and we charge no registration fees, plus it can be especially disruptive to students to continuously regress when other students join and cancel on repeat. Our goal is to progress all students, not regress our learning. All cancelation email requests will be responded to with confirmation of final date based on receipt, and you will be able to use any remaining passes from the request date to the final end date.
Pre-Requisites for Aerial Arts Level 2. Why can't my child just join this level? If we have never met you or it has been a while, we need to determine eligibility first. You can potentially go directly into Level 2, if you book and pay for an evaluation with us to demonstrate knowledge. We have required pre-requisites for this level in order to progress all students accordingly. It is teacher and studio discretion on who is approved to join. If your child has a friend in Level 2 and your student is not approved, you are welcome to discuss with the friend if s/he wants to move down to Level 1 if there is room, or if you'd like to book some private lessons to provide additional training to your child.
Credit Carryover. For Adult Core (up to 5 classes monthly), Chill (up to 5 floor-based classes monthly), and Classic (up to 10 classes monthly) Memberships, there is no credit carryover. It is "use it or lose it."
Payment Method. It is client responsibility to maintain their payment method. In the event of a failed automatic payment, we will attempt one additional payment. If that does not go through, the client's account is automatically billed a $25 inconvenience fee.
Flagged Accounts or Accounts In Bad Standing. If your payment does not go through, Wellness Living automatically notates this in the account and the amount owed will need to be paid prior to reinstating any memberships. No-showing does not equal membership cancelation.
Perpetual No-Shows. If you no-show 3 or more times, your may be charge a fee equal to the value of the classes missed and/or have your account deactivated by the studio. Accounts cannot be reactivated until the fee is resolved.
Booking With No Valid Payment Method. Clients may be unable to book in our scheduling system without a valid payment method on file and/or a negative balance.
Sharing and Transfers. Memberships are not shareable or transferable. We do offer discounts for multiple memberships in a household that can be manually added by our staff. 10% for 2. 15% for 3 memberships. 20% for 4+. Eligible sharing is for spouses/partners and children, immediately family only. Talk to the Front Desk or email us. We do not retro discounts.
Studio Policies
Client Cancelations. There is a 6-hour cancellation window. Any cancels within this window will forfeit the class credit. To cancel, you must log into your Wellness Living account and go to your schedule. If you have trouble with your account, email us at info@gravitydistrict.com for assistance. If you choose to cancel but the studio has not canceled (for example, weather), it is your choice but the studio is not responsible for refunds or class credits when class is still held without you.
Studio Cancelations for Low Enrollment, Teacher Issues, Weather, Etc. Three hours prior to class start, classes could be canceled for the possible reasons, which is not an entirely inclusive list. If there are not 2 students signed up. If a teacher has illness, accident or other issue unforeseen issue. Acts of God or extreme weather. Building Issues (for ex, plumbing or AC problems).

Waiver. A current waiver must be on file for every student.
Instructing Other Students. Do not instruct other students.
Arrival & Departure. In order to ensure seamless transition, please arrive and depart from class within 10 minutes of start and end times.
Spectating Not Allowed. We foster an inclusive space, but also honor our students by not allowing any spectators except parents or those explicitly approved by the student. There is a park with a pond nearby, several restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of free parking.
Jewelry. All rings, watches, bracelets, anklets, waist jewelry, etc., MUST be removed during class to avoid damage to equipment and for your safety.
Damage. Damage to the studio, equipment, theft, etcetera will result in fees charged to you.
Personal Item Storage. Cubbies are provided but we recommend leaving valuables at home or locked in your vehicle out of sight, and Gravity is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Cleanliness. Please practice good hygiene and sanitation by wiping down any poles, yoga mats, foam rollers or other equipment after use.
Illness. If you are sick, do not come to class. Contact us if you need assistance with a cancelation for a medical reason. We have a 6-hour cancel window, so if you know are you sick, do not wait to cancel and then ask us to refund/credit you, because we still have to pay our staff and that spot is still 'lost' to another student who could have used it. We can work with you if you let us know, but please do not abuse this policy either.
Videoing. We love Instagram and filming as much as you do! But please do so when appropriate. Instructors will normally allow time at the end of each class to film. And please be conscientious of any other students in the background and ensure they do not mind. Gravity may on occasion take photos or videos of students in class for Gravity's social media.
Illicit Items. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted in the studio. Anyone under the influence may be asked to leave without refund. This is a liability for us so thank you for understanding.
Pet Policy. We love our pet friends but we need your babies to stay at home please. This is non-negotiable.
Contact. To contact us, email info@gravitydistrict.com. Our goal is to respond to all communications within 72 hours max. Please keep this in mind based on your request.
Class Pack & Drop-In Policies (adult only)
Drop-in structure. Class signup structure is on a drop-in basis, but how you purchase the class may be via membership, a single class purchase, or a class pack.
Minimum Signups. Classes require a minimum of 2 students. For weekday classes, if class minimum is not met within 3 hours of start time, class will be canceled. For weekend classes, minimums must be met 12 hours prior. The pass/credit goes back to the student's account who was signed up.
Late Arrival. There is a 7 minute grace period for late arrivals. If you arrive after that, permitance is not allowed and no credit is given.
Client Cancelation. There is a 6-hour cancellation window. Any cancels within this window will forfeit the class credit. To cancel, you must log into your Wellness Living account and go to your schedule. If you have trouble with your account, email us at info@gravitydistrict.com for assistance.
Third party vendor. Gravity District participates with the ClassPass app and their cancelation period and other policies may differ. We have no connection, policy-wise, to this third party vendor.

Class Pack Expirations. The length of a single drop-in or class pack bundle is clearly documented in the online store and ranges from 2 months to 7 months depending on the option. If we have to cancel a class and give you a credit, you are still held to the timeline for usage. Class credit durations are not infinite. Sales final, no refunds.
Sharing and Transfers. Class packs are not shareable with anyone other than the purchaser unless specifically approved by management for extenuating circumstances.
Party Policies
Non-refundable Booking Fee. $50 non-refundable booking fee is due at time of booking. This fee triggers our management team's process to coordinate the details of your party including finding available aerial and/or acro teachers and additional contractors for any selected add-ons such as Hula Dancer, Facepainter, Tarot Reader, etc.
Reschedules. Reschedules are possible up to 2 business days prior to start.
Balance. Balance is due one week prior to event - booker's card on file will be charged unless otherwise requested via email to info@gravitydistrict.com.
Refunds.
Cancelations are refunded at 100% (not counting credit processing surcharges) if made 7 days or more prior to the event. Email must be received at info@gravitydistrict.com, not a call or text, no later than 5pm. We will honor an email receipt date, but it may take 1-2 business days to formally respond depending on day of week sent.
Cancelations are refunded at 50% if made between 2 and 6 days prior to the event.
Cancelations within 24 hours are non-refundable, as we have had to make special arrangements for this time and use of space.
Tardiness. Late arrivals do not extended allotted time.
Other Classes. Be aware, our studio has 2 main areas. Another class or less may be happening at the same time. You will have privacy and personal attention and a good time!
Waiver. A Waiver must be on file for every attendee.
Penalties. Damage to studio equipment is your responsibility and you will be charged.
Arrival. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to confirm all attendees have signed a Waiver.
Illicit Items. Drug and alcohol use is never permitted. A good time is our goal! But some things just have to wait, for everyone's safety.
Private Lesson Policies
Reschedules. Reschedules are possible up to 1 business day (that means a Mon-Fri, not the weekend) prior to the lesson.
Refunds.
Cancellations are refunded at 100% if made a week or more prior to the lesson.
Cancellations are refunded at 50% if made between 2 and 6 days prior to the lesson.
Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, as we have had to make special arrangements for this time and use of space.
Late arrival. Late arrival does not extend the allotted time.
Rental Policies
Full payment due at time of booking.
Reschedules are possible up to 2 business days prior to the rental.
Rentals are refunded at 100% if made no more than 12 hours prior to the rental.
No-shows do not get a refund as we have made arrangements to be on-site for you.
Late arrival does not extend the allotted time.
Rental does NOT mean you will be by yourself - a class could be going on simultaneously unless you rent the entire studio.
All rates are for one hour unless otherwise specified.
This is for your time - our staff is responsible for applicable rigging but not instruction. Doubles work is allowed but instruction by non-employees is also not approved. If it is a floor rental only, use of the aerial points or poles is not allowed.
Rentals are not the same as a party.
Damage to studio equipment is your responsibility and you will be charged.
Do NOT leave smelly or wet trash or a mess. You may forfeit your right to rent in the future if you are not respectful of the space.
